Our client is an established and one of the largest securities brokerage firm in Asia. They are currently looking for a Finance Operations (AVP), to join their Finance team to oversee payment operations, some fund operations relating to unit trusts and working closely with various departments on various campaigns and projects from a finance standpoint.

Operational Duties

• Daily funds movement for CPF/SRS
• Fixed Deposit and roll over
• Interest rate maintenance
• Preparation of memo etc for announcement
• Review 3rd party payment /receipt
• Handle enquiries from trading representatives and external counterparties
• Any other duties which may be assigned from time to time eg : Queries from Compliance /Audit on SOP / ad-hoc task

Handling of Projects

• Discussion with vendors / IT on requirements
• Conduct UAT testing together with various teams
• Prepare User Guide, conduct tutorial to users and keep everyone on board about any changes to the project plan

Profile

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, or related field.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in financial operations and project management.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Experience in Payments and Operational Finance
• Prior working experience within banking / securities brokerage
• Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy and organizational skills.
• Proven ability to work both independently and in a collaborative team environment.
