Position Overview

A leading US private bank is seeking a proactive Analyst to join the Client Onboarding team in Hong Kong. In this role, you will be instrumental in supporting the firm's Private Wealth Management business across the Asia Pacific region by ensuring the integrity and compliance of our client base.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end client lifecycle reviews, including new onboarding, periodic recertification, and event-driven updates, ensuring strict adherence to regional regulatory standards (e.g., UK, Hong Kong, Singapore).
• Maintain the accuracy and integrity of client data by diligently updating firm systems and databases with collected documentation and information.
• Serve as a key point of contact, professionally addressing inquiries and ad-hoc requests from internal partners, including Business Units and Compliance.
• Collaborate proactively with cross-functional teams-including Business, Account Management, Compliance, and Operations-throughout the entire client review lifecycle.
• Demonstrate agility in managing fluctuating workloads, effectively prioritizing tasks and projects to meet critical business deadlines.
• Continuously adapt to and implement evolving regulatory mandates, internal policies, and procedural updates.
• Consistently execute all responsibilities with a strong focus on quality, accuracy, and efficiency in a high-volume environment.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree with 1-2 years of relevant work experience preferred.
• Experience in AML/KYC, due diligence, controls, or regulatory projects is an advantage.
• Strong attention to detail, investigative skills, and the ability to understand complex procedures and controls.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
• Proven ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks, and meet deadlines under pressure.
• A collaborative team player with strong interpersonal skills to build effective working relationships.
