Logistics Category Manager

The Logistics Category Manager transforms logistics category strategy into a a sourcing strategy looking to optimize supplier performance to support indirect procurement to all lines of businesss across the Americas.

Your role:

• Transform the Logistics Category strategy into a Sourcing strategy at a regional and/or global level, focusing on supplier innovation and supply base optimization with integrated operations teams.
• Execute savings, optimization, and improvement programs in collaboration with Supplier Account Managers and warehouse/distribution teams to maximize contracted value.
• Manage Supplier Relationships and performance through strategic negotiation plans, applying tools like Game Theory and e-Sourcing, while ensuring compliance in supplier selection and contracting.
• Drive operational procurement excellence by organizing and implementing process efficiencies, leveraging standard work, internal/external service providers, and monitoring mechanisms.
• Enhance user experience and understanding of Buying Channels, policies, and workflows to ensure compliance, supported by effective communication and timely project implementation.

You're the right fit if:

• You have 2 + y ears of experience with Bachelor's in areas such as Category Management, Market Analysis, Supplier negotiations, and Portfolio Optimization or equivalent OR no prior experience required with Master's Degree.
• You posses a Bachelor's/ Master's Degree in Business, Procurement, Supply Chain Management or equivalent.
• Preferrably knowledgable in Excel (data gathering and manipulation to generate Pivot Tables and Power BI Dashboards) and/or AI tools (Copilaot, ChatGPT , etc..) to increase efficiency in delivery.
• You are a professional with strong communication and stakeholder management skills, capable of efficiently negotiating and rebuilding relationships, influencing internally, managing diverse personalities, and rallying cross-functional teams for alignment. You are open to travel aprx 10% across the country.
• You must be able to successfully perform the following minimum Physical, Cognitive and Environmental job requirements with or without accommodation for this position .

How we work together

We believe that we are better together than apart. For our office-based teams, this means working in-person at least 3 days per week. Onsite roles require full-time presence in the company's facilities. Field roles are most effectively done outside of the company's main facilities, generally at the customers' or suppliers' locations.

This is an in-office role.

Philips Transparency Details

The pay range for this position in Nashville, TN is from $ 89,300.00 to $142,800.00

The actual base pay offered may vary within the posted ranges depending on multiple factors including job-related knowledge/skills, experience, business needs, geographical location, and internal equity.

In addition, other compensation, such as an annual incentive bonus, sales commission or long-term incentives may be offered.
