About our client:
Our client specializes in design and production; they are leaders in the development of end-to-end marketing solutions. They create high-end retail displays, point of sale activations, and promotional products for some of the world's most iconic brands, including Bacardi, Diageo, Campari, PepsiCo, and Red Bull.
Their team thrives on innovation, collaboration, and delivering premium solutions for global
brands. They are expanding their international team and are seeking a talented Project Manager to join them remotely from South or Central America.
What You'll Do
Product & Project Ownership
- Oversee the full lifecycle of product and display development: concept, design, prototyping, sourcing, manufacturing, quality control, and delivery.
- Translate client briefs into actionable product requirements, ensuring alignment between creative vision, technical feasibility, and production realities.
- Define and manage product specifications, BOMs (Bill of Materials), cost structures, and production schedules.
Design & Innovation
- Collaborate with the design and creative teams to guide product aesthetics, materials, and engineering for manufacturability and brand consistency.
- Research and integrate innovative materials, sustainable solutions, and fabrication techniques that enhance both product appeal and efficiency.
- Review prototypes, materials, and finishes to ensure final output meets aesthetic and functional requirements.
Manufacturing & Supply Chain Management
- Source and manage relationships with international factories, suppliers, and fabricators (China, Colombia, USA, etc.).
- Evaluate supplier capabilities, negotiate pricing, and oversee quality standards across multiple production partners.
- Ensure adherence to project timelines, budgets, and compliance standards from sampling through mass production.
Cross-Functional Coordination
- Collaborate with internal teams (design, logistics, finance) and external stakeholders (clients, vendors, engineers) to maintain alignment at all stages.
- Prepare and deliver client presentations showcasing design concepts, material options, and production strategies.
- Manage change requests, troubleshoot production challenges, and ensure smooth execution of global campaigns.
Performance & Optimization
- Track and report on project profitability, timelines, and key performance metrics.
- Identify process improvements to enhance product development efficiency and reduce lead times.
- Contribute to business growth through strategic sourcing and scalable production strategies.
Requirements
- 3-5 years of experience in product management, manufacturing coordination, industrial design, or retail display production.
- Proven experience managing complex projects involving physical product fabrication or branded environment design.
- Strong understanding of materials, prototyping, fabrication methods, and manufacturing workflows.
- Excellent communication skills in English (Spanish and/or Portuguese a plus).
- Proficiency with project management tools (Asana, Monday.com, Trello) and product design tools (Adobe Creative Suite, AutoCAD, or SolidWorks a plus).
- Advanced knowledge of Google Workspace or MS Office for documentation and budgeting.
- Entrepreneurial, hands-on, and detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple international projects simultaneously.
- Schedule flexibility to collaborate across time zones with global clients and suppliers.
Benefits
- Full-time position, Monday to Friday (EST hours)
- Salary: 2,000 USD Monthly
- US holidays, 7-day PTO, flexible/unlimited sick time by trust, annual bonus after first year.
- Location: 100% remote, open to candidates based in LATAM
- Contract: Independent Contractor
