700Apps is seeking a skilled and motivated Senior Software Business Analyst/Product Owner to join our innovative team In this pivotal role, you will act as both a business analyst and a product owner, leading the charge to define, document, and prioritize business needs while ensuring that our software products deliver maximum value. You will engage closely with stakeholders to align development efforts with business goals and user needs, ultimately driving the success of our solutions.This role requires Business travel to Saudi Arabia for approximately 6 months as part of the assignment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the requirements-gathering process through stakeholder interviews, workshops, and documentation.
- Collaborate with Oracle ERP functional and technical teams to define, analyze, and optimize business processes across Finance, Procurement, and Supply Chain modules.
- Ensure system configurations, integrations, and enhancements within Oracle ERP align with business requirements and organizational goals.
- Stay abreast of industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in software development, business analysis, and Oracle ERP solutions.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document business requirements effectively.
- Prioritize and manage the product backlog, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
- Translate business requirements into user stories and acceptance criteria for the development team.
- Facilitate communication between technical teams and stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
- Conduct user acceptance testing (UAT) and validate functionality against requirements.
- Analyze data to generate insights and continuous improvement opportunities for products.
- Conduct user acceptance testing and provide ongoing support post-implementation.
- Work closely with the development team to ensure requirements are translated into technical solutions.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Business Analyst and/or Product Owner in software development industry.
- Demonstrated experience working with Oracle ERP systems (e.g., Finance, Procurement, Supply Chain). including process analysis, requirements documentation, and system enhancement coordination.
- Familiarity with software development life cycle (SDLC) practices is a MUST.
- Proven experience in gathering and defining business requirements effectively.
- Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and experience with Scrum or Kanban.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to analyze complex data sets and provide actionable insights.
- Familiarity with product management tools (TFS, JIRA).
- Relevant certifications (e.g., CSPO, CBAP, PMI-BA) are highly preferred.
- Capacity to work independently and remotely while effectively managing time and priorities.
- Demonstrated ability to think strategically and contribute to high-level decision-making.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and ARIS.
