Description
Our MissionAt Circus (Xetra: CA1), headquartered in Munich with offices in Berlin and Hamburg, we are pioneering global developments in on-demand autonomous food production. From culinary creation to production and operations, everything is powered by seamlessly integrated robotics and transformative AI.
Our foundation lies in groundbreaking advancements in robotics, driven by artificial intelligence - the long-missing link in realizing fully autonomous food automation. The time has come for a new status quo: just as autonomous vehicles are reshaping our cities and daily lives, we are redefining the entire experience of food.
Our team brings together leading minds in Robotics, AI, Engineering, and Culinary, working closely with industry-leading partners to revolutionize how food is prepared, accessed, and experienced.
Join us as we shape a future where the art of cooking meets the science of technology - and where food becomes something fundamentally new.
About the Role
We are seeking a visionary and technically fluent Product Manager (f/m/d) to join our Hardware Development team in Munich. This role is about shaping the future of autonomous food production through bold thinking and a commitment to excellence in execution.
You will own the end-to-end product journey - from innovative ideas and disruptive concepts to industrialization and scaling. Success in this role requires the conviction and resilience to set a clear vision, inspire others, and build alignment across diverse teams. The right person combines deep technical understanding with the ability to challenge constructively, foster collaboration, and mobilize others around ambitious goals.
Your Daily Business
- Drive the full hardware innovation lifecycle: ideation, requirements definition, design, prototyping, validation, manufacturing, and release.
- Shape and own the hardware product vision and roadmap, aligning bold ideas with company strategy and emerging opportunities.
- Translate forward-looking product visions into clear, actionable specifications for engineering - balancing usability, cost, manufacturability, and reliability.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams (Robotics, Software, AI, Culinary, Supply Chain, Operations, Manufacturing) to deliver integrated solutions.
- Evaluate, select, and build relationships with suppliers, vendors, and technology partners to ensure scalability and quality.
- Monitor performance of hardware in the field, using feedback to drive continuous iteration and improvement.
- Serve as an advocate and ambassador for hardware innovation, inspiring internal and external stakeholders around product direction.
Base Qualifications
- Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics, Robotics Engineering, or a related technical field.
- 5+ years of proven experience as a Product Manager, Product Owner, or equivalent role in hardware or robotics innovation.
- Track record of delivering groundbreaking products from concept to market - ideally in automation, robotics, consumer electronics, or food tech.
- Strong grasp of hardware product development: requirements engineering, rapid prototyping, design for manufacturing (DFM), validation, and scaling.
- Natural ability to set a vision, inspire, and influence teams, while constructively challenging the status quo.
- Strong collaboration and communication skills: able to build trust across technical and business stakeholders.
- Familiarity with agile methodologies and product management frameworks.
- Thrives in fast-paced, high-growth environments where speed and ambition go hand in hand with quality.
Our Offer
- Competitive Compensation: Receive a competitive compensation package with offered stock options for full-time employees.
- Work-Life Balance: Enjoy regular team events, a hybrid work setup, 2 months/year remote work (Workation), and unlimited vacation days, along with a corporate pension plan.
- Personal Development: Personal annual training budget, access to internal trainings, and strong growth opportunities in a fast-paced environment.
- Mobility:Benefit from a monthly mobility or expense budget and a subsidized Dance Mobility Subscription for E-Bike/E-Moped.
- Well-Being:Access discounted Urban Sports Club membership and Wellhub for a wide variety of health and well-being offerings.
