Position Overview: Inventory and Quality Control Manager
SiemensSmart Infrastructure Logistics is looking for a Quality/Inventory/ReportingManager for our Southaven, MS facility. Our growing facility has more than threehundred employees providing logistics services for the Smart Infrastructure andDigital Industries divisions within Siemens. Within our facility this positionwill have direct responsibility for all activities within the quality andinventory teams. In addition to driving the strategic objectives around quality& inventory management within the facility and supporting the developmentof the digital transformation of reporting within the DC.

Responsibilities:

• Safety:The most important responsibility of this role is ensuring employee safety. Walkthe Talk, supporting a Zero Harm Culture

• Quality:Drive continuous improvement of processes and systems to achieve zero defects.In addition to developing and implementing corrective actions for found defects.

• Reporting:Report out of on key KPIs for Quality and Inventory. Then utilize the resultsto collaborate with the operations team to drive improvements.

• Reporting: Lead the development and roll out of key KPIdashboard reporting for North America by utilizing SAP, Snowflake and Tableau.

• Inventory:Improve foundational inventory discipline and production flow to meet inventoryaccuracy and inventory turn-over requirements. Also sustain inventory accuracythresholds to satisfy corporate requirements. Then lead the annual inventoryexemption testing and physical inventories.

• Conductteam resource planning, staffing, training, communication and performancemanagement.

• Championan environment of collaboration and a focus on achieving results within yourteam and across peer groups.

• Delivereffective change leadership to drive business changes

• Youwill communicate and collaborate cross-functionally to assist team to solveoperational issues

• Motivateteam members to achieve plan goals

RequiredKnowledge/Skills, Education, and Experience:

1. BS/BAin related discipline, or advanced degree.

2. 5-8 plus years' experience in aninventory/process improvement leadership.

3. Highlyeffective written and verbal interpersonal skills.

4. Experiencewith Tableau and Snowflake platforms

5. Experiencewith physical inventory

6. 3-5years of relevant SAP WM/EWM experience.

7. Youwill effectively act as a leader of teams with formal supervisory authority.

8. Demonstratedability to organize, motivate and manage others to achieve results.

9. Experiencein a fast-paced manufacturing or other environment leading other leaders.

10. Strongknowledge of lean manufacturing and continuous improvement techniques.

11. Skilledin data analysis using MS Excel or other tools to measure and manageperformance.

PreferredKnowledge/Skills, Education, and Experience:

1. Experiencewith automation and digital manufacturing technology

2. Lean,Six Sigma certification

3. APICS(CPIM) certification
