Company Overview
Sterisil is a light manufacturing operation specializing in the development of residual silver-ion-based antimicrobial products to eliminate microbial contamination in dental unit waterlines. Together with our sister company Agenics Labs, we also offer the water testing and analysis products clinicians need to quantify the level of microbial contamination in their waterlines. At our core, we are a team of like-minded manufacturing professionals dedicated to the cause of eliminating infectious waterborne microbial contamination in dentistry. Our unique capabilities and unrivaled understanding in dental water infection control has allowed Sterisil to grow from a small manufacturer to a global leader in dental waterline infection control.
Company History
Sterisil, Inc was founded by Brad and Theresa Downs in 1999. Over the span of the next 22 years Brad and Theresa Downs, through Sterisil, have developed a complete product line of patented dental water line treatment technology that represents the only products registered by the U.S. Environmental Protection agency. Now considered to be a leader in the industry, Sterisil Inc continues to lead the way with improved and innovated products.
Notable Accomplishments / Recognition
We offer a full lineup of the only dental water line treatment products with a registered EPA quantified claim of approximately less than or equal to 10 CFU/ml of HPC bacteria. Our products come from a scientific approach and have been evaluated by the ADA in conjunction with the Institute for Biofilm Research at Montana State and Loma Linda University. We are the #1 choice of over half of the major Dental Schools in the US.
