Description
Technician (Multiple Positions), Becton Dickinson and Company, Columbus, NE. Setup, run and changeover equipment to meet quality and quantity standards. Maintain change control and make adjustments within validated limits. Perform preventative maintenance, breakdown maintenance and continuous improvement on equipment to meet production and quality standards. Troubleshoot, diagnose causes and repair equipment to maintain manufacturing performance. Recommend design changes to engineer, where applicable, to upgrade equipment, eliminate reoccurring problems and improve product quality. Generate accurate maintenance records. Participate in scheduling, process improvement, safety and continuous improvement. Follow Good Manufacturing and Good Documentation Practices.
40 hrs/week, Mon-Fri, 8:30 a.m. - 5:30 p.m.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
High School diploma, or foreign equivalent diploma, and one (1) year of related work experience.
Must have one (1) year of knowledge or experience with/in the following:
- Setting up, changing over, problem solving, improving and maintaining production equipment;
- Following policies, procedures and regulations related to quality systems, Manufacturing execution systems, Good Manufacturing Practices and Good Documentation Practices;
- Maintaining and operating equipment using: hand tools and gages; oscilloscopes, signal generators, amp meters and voltmeters; or precision measuring instruments;
- Troubleshoot and solving problems independently; and
- Understanding and following hazardous waste handling procedures following regulatory standards.
